We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. A business development manager is meant to identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The work involves careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of our company.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Generate leads and seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone to foster and develop relationships with them.
Understanding the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them.
Planning, presenting and communicating new product developments to prospective clients
Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Draw up client contracts - have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
Increase sales of the business, carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to management
Develop the business sales and marketing strategy
Providing management with feedback
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales/Management or relevant field
At least 3 years experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proven working experience Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
Proficiency in English
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
Professional certification is an added advantage
