Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in asset management. 
• The role focuses on driving growth by customizing investment solutions, managing assets, and building relationships with institutional and retail clients. 
• The ideal candidate will also explore new business opportunities and strengthen strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Drive the growth of all products amongst institutional and retail clients
• Customize investment solutions to suit the investment needs of prospects and clients
• Monitor customer satisfaction with existing clients to ensure service delivery
• Develop and broaden institutional and strategic partnership business opportunities within Nigeria and across other African countries
• Explore and win new businesses to achieve mutually agreed sales targets and KPIs
• Develop and assist in executing sales activities for investment team meetings, roadshows, campaigns, searches, data requests, presentations, due diligence visits, and ongoing relationship management efforts
• Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients, leading to new mandates or injections of funds
• Build relationships with key decision-makers within potential organizations
• Generate quality assets for the company and manage existing and new clients
• Consistently generate low / medium-cost liabilities to fund assets
• Responsible for customizing investment solutions to meet the investment needs of prospects and clients.

Requirements

• A First Degree or its equivalent from a reputable tertiary institution, a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a Business Development professional with an Asset Management firm
