About the Position (1 slot)

We are seeking a competent Business Development Manager to work REMOTELY with our CEO to recruit University Lecturers, Students Youth Corp members, and graduates in general into The ITern – our 6-month IT-Apprenticeship program.  The goal is to build a community of highly skilled IT professionals for emerging local and, especially, global opportunities in IT.

Our Apprenticeship and training programs focus on:

• Windows Server Administration
• Linux System Administration
• Cloud Solution Architecting
• Advance Cloud Networking
• DevOps/CI/CD

Job Description

This is a senior position, with both short and long-term goals to achieve. Among many tasks and roles, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing growth strategies and plans for The ITern program
• Increasing our local client base
• Having an in-depth knowledge of our service and value proposition
• Writing business proposals
• Negotiating with stakeholders
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
• Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
• Following industry trends locally and internationally
• Drafting and reviewing contracts
• Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements

Qualifications/Requirements

• Prospective candidate should have various skills and qualifications covering:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
• At least 3 years’ proven sales experience in a related product or service
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and ability to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Expert level understanding of our service, and ability to innovate new ways the service can serve customers
• Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
• Innate drive to succeed and take initiative
• Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments

Remuneration

N150,000 per month
