Business Development Manager at LEAD Enterprise Support Company Limited

Job Summary: 

Our Microinsurance Company client seeks to hire a Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist with the development and execution of appropriate marketing and business development strategies to support the achievement of sustainable profitability and market growth. He/ She will deliver low-valued and premium Microinsurance products that can add value to different market strata and provide relevant marketing and client insights to ease and facilitate the successful creation and execution of clients’ market expansion objectives. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop sustainable Business strategic Initiatives to achieve set goals and objectives of the organization.
• Develop Marketing/Business Development budget for the Organization (revenue and expense)
• Sign up Business partnerships with Clusters, Trade Associations, Cooperative Societies Microfinance Institutions, and other Aggregators.
• Set up an effective Broad Marketing structure for a newly set up Micro insurance company.
• Sign up strategic partnerships with at least 10 Clusters, Trade Associations, Cooperative Societies Microfinance banks/Institutions, NGOs, Community-based Associations, SME Cluster, Aggregators, and any other Channels suitable for distributing Microinsurance products.
• Ensure that at least 60 new businesses are generated for the year.
• Develop New Initiatives to Drive Business Growth.
• Monitor the implementation of the marketing and sales strategies.
• Develop new business opportunities through Government Intervention programmes.
• Manages Brokers and other Channels relationships.
• Manage career development of direct reports.
• Monitor the organization’s performance against monthly/quarterly/annual budget plans. 

Job Requirements: 

• HND or bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
• 4-5 years of work experience in Insurance Marketing or Microfinance and with marketing experience especially with clusters.
• Relative connection and familiarity with Microfinance Institution or other multilateral institution involve in microcredit.
