    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in the fast-paced and dynamic FMCG industry.
    • In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sustainable growth for our company.
    • You will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key partners and clients, and contribute to the expansion of our brand reach and market share.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends within the FMCG sector.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with company objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other industry partners.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
    • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our products and value proposition.
    • Monitor market competition and stay abreast of industry trends and consumer preferences.
    • Analyze market data and identify opportunities for product innovation and market expansion.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of effective sales and marketing strategies.
    • Travel to meet with clients and partners as needed.
    • Drive growth of the company’s products and services.
    • Identify and preach to potential customers of the company’s products and services.
    • Market engagement by inducing and stimulating demand for the company’s products and service
    • Using the various Marketing mix/tools (Promotion, Activations etc.) to drive traffic and encourage patronage in the stores.
    • Use of Direct sales/Personal selling force (Merchandiser, Promoter etc.) to help promote and build brand awareness.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc. / HND Degree in Business Admin / Marketing / Economics, or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the FMCG industry.
    • Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • In-depth knowledge of the FMCG industry and current market trends.
    • Excellent understanding of retail channels and distribution networks.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
