    Business Development Manager

    Job Summary

    • As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth for our tech company
    • Your primary focus will be to develop and execute effective strategies to expand our customer base and enhance our market presence
    • This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and strong interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, target markets, and potential clients to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development plan to drive growth and expansion in line with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and industry best practices to stay ahead of the curve.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, through regular communication, meetings, and networking events.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and maximize business opportunities.
    • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and contract closure, ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience.
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients, effectively showcasing our company's unique value proposition.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, generate reports, and provide regular updates to the management team, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and market dynamics to proactively identify new business prospects and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand, establish thought leadership, and expand our network.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
    • Proven track record of at least 6years in business development or sales roles, preferably within the tech industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of the technology sector, including software development, cloud services, data analytics, artificial intelligence, or other relevant domains.
    • Demonstrated success in generating new business and achieving sales targets.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and value propositions effectively.
    • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to identify market opportunities and develop effective business strategies.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and other relevant business development technologies.
    • Availability for occasional travel as required.
