    Business Development Manager

    Reports To: Regional Manager

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in the automotive sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships, dealer network expansion, and customer engagement initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the automobile industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to develop and execute growth strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Development:

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
    • Identify, approach, and secure new B2B and B2C clients including fleet operators, government agencies, and dealerships.
    • Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Lead the sales team, set targets, and track performance metrics.

    Business Development:

    • Identify and explore new business opportunities, channels, and partnerships in the automotive ecosystem.
    • Expand the dealership and distributor network in target markets.
    • Build strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, financial institutions, and government bodies.

    Market Analysis & Strategy:

    • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
    • Develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and go-to-market plans.
    • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Maintain and grow long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and support.

    Reporting & Budgeting:

    • Prepare periodic sales and business development reports for management.
    • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and ROI analyses.
    • Monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with organizational goals.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development in the automobile industry.
    • Strong network within the automotive sector (OEMs, dealerships, fleet operators).
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales analytics platforms.
    • Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning abilities.
    • Willingness to travel frequently.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in EVs, commercial vehicles, or luxury automotive segment.
    • Understanding of automobile financing and leasing models.
    • Exposure to regional and international markets is a plus.
