Business Development Manager at Aureole Consulting Limited

Position Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead the incubation and piloting of new business initiatives across the African region. This role requires frequent travel to countries where our client's company operates and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on emerging markets by identifying, testing, and scaling new business models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for new business incubation and pilot projects.
• Identify and implement scalable income-generating business models (B2C, B2B, B2G).
• Manage proof-of-concept (POC) projects from planning through execution.
• Lead market research, feasibility studies, and go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and partners.
• Engage with end-users to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure all initiatives align with legal standards and internal compliance frameworks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in new business development, preferably within energy, fintech, or inclusive business sectors.
• Proven experience launching high-impact initiatives across multiple regions, particularly in East Africa.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, International Relations, or a related field.
• Strong commercial acumen, project management skills, and cultural adaptability.
• Willingness and availability to travel frequently across African countries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
