    Business Development Manager (Agro-Commodities)

    • Who we are looking for: We are seeking a commercially aggressive, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to expand our market share. In this role, you will not just be selling commodities, you will be onboarding corporate buyers, food processors, and global exporters onto a digital procurement ecosystem. Your mission is to convert traditional, relationship-based buyers into structured platform clients who rely on TBT Agro for volume and technical specification precision.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Corporate Pipeline Development: Identify, target, and secure high-value contracts with industrial food processors, animal feed manufacturers, breweries, and international commodity exporters.
    • Platform Onboarding & Adoption: Drive the acquisition of corporate buyer profiles onto the TBT Agro platform, ensuring seamless digital transaction flows.
    • Relationship Management: Act as the primary corporate liaison, managing contract lifecycles from initial negotiation to final delivery and payment reconciliation.
    • Market Intelligence & Value Selling: Leverage live platform price trends, quality specification advantages (such as moisture, purity, and outturn metrics), and logistics to win competitive procurement accounts.

    What We Are Looking For

    • Industry Experience: A minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or B2B procurement within the Nigerian agro-commodity or FMCG sector.
    • Established Network: An active, verifiable rolodex of procurement heads, factory managers, and commodity off-takers across Nigeria.
    • Tech-Savvy Mindset: Comfort explaining and selling digital platform solutions; you understand how technology optimizes traditional supply chain economics.
    • Deal Closer: A track record of executing multi-million Naira bulk volume contracts with long sales cycles.
    • Communication: Elite negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to interface confidently with C-Suite executives and factory floor managers alike.
