    Business Development Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the transportation and logistics sector to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions to meet them.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategic business plans to penetrate new markets and segments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and market visibility.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts, agreements, and partnerships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to maximize business opportunities and profitability.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives, analyzing key metrics and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
    • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
    • Proficiency in market research and analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
    • Negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to close deals and forge partnerships.
    • Leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Results-oriented mindset, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
