Business Development Manager at a Leading Power Generation

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement plans for business and revenue growth. 
2. Research, plan, and implement target marketing initiatives
3. Research prospective clients in target markets
4. Generate leads and follow through the sales cycle
5. Develop business proposals and make presentations to prospective clients.
6. Represent the company in business meetings
7. Ensure client satisfaction
8. Develop and implement strategies to avoid revenue losses and delay in payments from clients
9. Review of EPP contracts and PPAs to ensure it aligns with agreement with clients
10. Creating long-term value from customers, markets, and relationships

Job Purpose

1. To develop new businesses in assigned region, nurture and optimize the new and existing relationships with a view to deepening our market share.

Qualifications Required

1. HND/Bachelor Degree in either of Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or any relevant course.  A masters degree is an added advantage.
2. Membership of any professional body is an added advantage

Minimum Experience Required

1. Minimum of 10 years experience in Business Development, out of which at least 4 years must be in a relevant industry.

3. Excellent written, oral communication/presentation skills 
4. Technical skills
5. Proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
