Quantity Surveyor at AIM Consultants

Purpose

• Will be responsible for Pre-contract; Post-Contract & General Administration

Duties & Responsibilities

• Experience in sourcing materials and proposing optimum rates in the Fair price Estimate of the BOQ.
• Materials requisition and scheduling
• Interim / final valuations
• Preparatio of Bill of Quantities with back up calculations.
• Construction cost estimating
• Pricing tenders
• Site measurement for variations & valuations
• Pre & post project work ( Financial reporting & Accounting)
• Feasibility & viability studies of projects various types of construction.

Requirements
Professional Certification:

• B.Sc and M.Sc Quantity Surveying
• Nigerian Institute Of Quantity Surveyors
• Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN)
• Institute of cost management
• Chartered Institute of Arbitration ( not a pre tequisite) Nigeria.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years work experience in similar position.
• Good use of Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, project, power point )
• Working knowledge of Auto CAD, is a plus.
• QS-CAD & MB3
• Accurately take and process requisitions
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task several priorities
• Crystal reporting system experience
• Safe work Habits
• Excellent communication skill
• Solid time management skill
• Follow Field management procedures.
