    Business Development

    A dynamic company in the Travel and Tours Industry, with presence in Lagos and Abuja requires a Business Development Manager. 
    Job Responsibilities

    • Identify and cultivate new travel agencies or agents that can help to cost- effectively grow product distribution.
    • Generate new business relationships with High Net Worth Individuals as well as Corporate Clients, Agents, Families, Educational bodies, Religious bodies and Associations e.t.c.
    • Manage existing relationships with key accounts – in both the Public and Private Sectors.
    • Develop an innovative sales and calling strategy, to achieve the sales targets for the company that prioritizes agencies by productivity and potentials
    • Liaise with Agents to solve client problems, partner with Agents on sales and marketing, and keep Agents informed/updated about the company’s products
    • Manage the creation of Sales Presentations, Marketing Collateral, Emails, Newsletters and Trade shows.
    • Analyze sales reports for key trends and provide Weekly Sales/Marketing Updates on activities and opportunities.
    • Participate and host familiarization trips as required

    Job Qualifications & Attributes

    • A good first degree from a reputable educational institution
    • Possession of a higher degree and/or relevant professional qualifications in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Travel and Tours industry
    • Demonstrated successful sales history in the travel industry
    • An understanding of the sales process, including commission structures, marketing plans and incentives
    • Excellent communicator; good public speaker and ability to develop and deliver presentations to Prospects, Agency and Consumer Audiences
    • Must be proactive, creative and self-motivated, with strong networking/strategic marketing skills and ability to think “out of the box”
    • Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
