Flex Finance is looking for a smart, driven, and curious Business Development Executive (BDE) to help grow our customer base by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-potential businesses. You’ll be the first human touchpoint in our sales pipeline, turning cold outreach into qualified meetings that drive revenue.
This is a great fit for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys the challenge of outbound prospecting, and wants to grow into a full-cycle sales role within a leading African fintech.
What You’ll Be Doing
Prospect Intelligently: Identify and research key decision-makers (Finance, Ops, Procurement) in target industries.
Outreach That Converts: Drive high-volume cold outreach daily via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and referrals.
Qualify Leads: Ask the right questions, uncover needs, and assess fit for our spend management platform.
Book Meetings: Schedule discovery calls with businesses that match our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Track Religiously: Keep Pipedrive CRM updated with lead status, activities, and notes.
Be the Face of Flex: Represent our brand with confidence, curiosity, and professionalism.
You’re a Fit If You Have:
3–5 years in BDE, inside sales, or customer-facing roles (preferably in B2B fintech or SaaS).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Grit and persistence—you’re energized by outreach and unbothered by rejection.
Basic CRM skills (preferably Pipedrive).
Comfort using tools like Slack and Google Workspace.
A goal-driven mindset with strong self-accountability.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
