This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Lagos.
The Business Development Executive will identify and qualify new business opportunities, manage a pipeline of prospective clients, and drive growth in key market segments.
Responsibilities include generating leads through research and outreach, conducting client meetings and presentations, and preparing proposals and quotations.
The role involves building and maintaining relationships with existing accounts, gathering feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to align offerings with customer needs.
The Business Development Executive will also monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategy and support revenue targets.
Qualifications
Proficiency in New Business Development and Lead Generation to identify, qualify, and convert prospective clients.
Strong Business acumen with the ability to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and sustainable packaging solutions.
Excellent Communication skills for client meetings, negotiations, presentations, and internal collaboration.
Account Management experience to nurture long-term relationships, manage client portfolios, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably within packaging, manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a structured sales pipeline.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a data-informed approach to decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working on-site in Lagos and willingness to travel locally for client visits when required.
