    Business Developer

    Role Summary:

    • The Business Development Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share for the company.
    • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful business development in a similar role, as well as strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and evaluate market trends and competition.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, revenue, and profitability.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and joint ventures.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote the company's products and services.
    • Identify and attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment of business goals and objectives.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the Business Development Manager on progress against goals and objectives.
    • Keep up to date with industry developments and trends, and provide insights and recommendations to the team.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of successful business development in a similar role.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
    • Experience in the cab-hailing company.

    Functional Competencies

    • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles, including financial management, marketing, and sales.
    • Market Analysis: Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth, including potential customers and competitors.
    • Sales and Marketing: A Business Development Officer should have a good understanding of sales and marketing principles, including branding, advertising, lead generation, lead conversion, and customer retention and customer relationship management.
    • Market Research and Analysis: The ability to research and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies is a key competency for a Business Development Officer.
    • Strategic Planning: Business Development Officers need to be able to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Networking and Relationship Building: A Business Development Officer should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and industry influencers.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for a Business Development Officer, as they will be responsible for presenting ideas, negotiating contracts, and communicating with clients and colleagues.
    • Financial Management: A Business Development Officer should have a good understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis.
