    Business Analyst

    Job Summary

    • Sales Analyst develops strategies that improve sales productivity for the Organization.
    • The Sales Analyst analyzes sales data by collecting data, reviewing current customers, analyzing market trends, running the numbers, creating detailed reports and make recommendations to optimize sales activities and increase market share.
    • He/she helps to increase the effectiveness of the sales operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Examine Company data, review budgets and expenditures, evaluate pricing structures, and compare sales productivity and goals to identify industry trends and help determine ways to improve sales procedures.
    • Examine monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations.
    • Analyze market data, including competitors, to identify areas where the Company can increase its efforts.
    • Use previous sales data and market trends to develop forecasts and projections.
    • Develop reports showing expected sales and the potential effects of new strategies to aid in decision-making.
    • Work closely with sales & marketing and management personnel to develop forecasts and examine the potential revenue.
    • Work with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Identify markets to target with advertising and promotional efforts or determine how best to set the Company apart from its competitors. Frequent collaborating with marketing teams to open up new markets for growth.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for executives and other company leaders. The reports will include data on market performance, competitor research, and general sales trends. Provide recommendation on increasing revenue, eliminating weaknesses within the Company’s sales ecosystem, meeting sales goals, and improving marketing and promotional efforts in certain sectors.
    • Collaborate with sales managers to create sales forecasts and establish client delivery schedules.
    • Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity.
    • Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
    • Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.
    • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance.
    • Forecasting demand, revenue, and expenses.
    • Determining sales potential and making recommendations.
    • Present weekly reports to the sales team and management based on you analysis.
    • Identify industry trends.
    • Help improve sales processes.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
    • 3 - 4 years of experience analyzing complex data.
    • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel.
    • Experience in sales analysis.
    • Strong research and data analysis skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Projection and forecasting skills.
    • Strong mathematical skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
    • Attention to detail.
