    Branch Manager - Retail

    Job Overview

    • The Branch Manager (retail) is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and operations of the branch, ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
    • This role involves leading and motivating staff, managing resources, driving business growth, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities
    Business Growth & Revenue:

    • Develop and implement branch sales and business development strategies.
    • Identify new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

    Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to policies.
    • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and cost controls.
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of branch performance.

    Customer Service:

    • Promote a customer-centric culture within the branch.
    • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure quick resolution.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key clients.

    Team Leadership:

    • Develop branch staff.
    • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular appraisals.
    • Foster teamwork, motivation, and continuous learning.

    Compliance & Risk Management:

    • Ensure branch operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Monitor risk exposure and implement controls to safeguard assets.
    • Ensure timely audits and proper documentation.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
    • Minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • Proven track record in business development, operations management, and people leadership.
    • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze performance data.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
