    Biomedical Engineer

    Job Description 

    • We are currently partnering with a key player in the insurance industry to find a dynamic and results-oriented Biomedical engineer to contribute to the growth and success of their business.

    Responsibilities

    • Designing and developing biomedical equipment, including medical imaging devices, diagnostic machinery, and therapeutic equipment.
    • Conducting inspections, testing, and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and optimal performance.
    • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and provide technical support for the effective utilization of biomedical devices.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with medical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
    • Conducting training sessions for healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical devices.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Proven 2-4 years post-NYSC working experience in biomedical engineering or a related role within the healthcare industry.
    • Strong understanding of medical equipment functionality, design principles, and regulatory requirements.
    • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
