About the Role
Our organization, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) located in Victoria Island, Lagos, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing & Receivable Officer to join our Finance Team.
This role is critical to ensuring accurate billing, efficient receivables management, revenue assurance, and improved cash flow performance.

Work Structure
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- First 3 Months: Fully On-Site (Victoria Island)
- From the 4th Month: Hybrid Work Arrangement
Remuneration ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 Monthly (Dependent on experience and prior exposure to billing & receivable functions. Experience within an ISP environment is an added advantage.)
Key Responsibilities
Billing Management
- Generate, review, and distribute accurate customer invoices in line with contractual agreements.
- Maintain completeness and accuracy of customer billing records.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new customers into the billing system.
- Continuously improve billing processes for efficiency and revenue assurance
Receivables & Credit Control
- Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely collections.
- Implement effective credit control policies.
- Reconcile receivable ledgers for accurate reporting.
- Resolve long-outstanding and complex receivable issues
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly billing & receivable reports.
- Analyze collection trends and identify revenue leakage points.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize cash flow
Customer & Compliance Focus
- Address billing inquiries and disputes professionally.
- Ensure 100% compliance with financial policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- 95% of invoices issued on time
- 90% collection efficiency
- 100% compliance with financial policies
- Zero discrepancies due to data entry errors
Skills & Competency Requirements
- Strong billing & receivables management experience
- Advanced Excel skills (large datasets & financial models).
- Proficiency in billing/accounting software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in billing & receivable roles (minimum 2–4 years preferred).
- Background in ISP, telecom, or subscription-based billing environments is a strong advantage.
- Relevant accounting or finance qualification is desirable
