Bids & Tenders Manager at AIM Consultants

We are seeking a highly organized, commercially minded, and results-driven Bid & Tender Manager to lead the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive bids and tenders for our engineering consulting business.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the full bid lifecycle — from identifying and assessing opportunities, reviewing tender requirements, developing bid strategies, coordinating technical and commercial inputs, through to preparing, reviewing, and submitting compelling proposals.

This role is particularly important as we continue to strengthen our position within the engineering, infrastructure, and consulting sectors while expanding our business opportunities within the Oil & Gas industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and evaluate relevant tender and bid opportunities across engineering, infrastructure, consulting, and Oil & Gas.
• Manage the end-to-end bid process, from reviewing tender requirements to final submission.
• Prepare and coordinate high-quality technical and commercial proposals, EOIs, prequalification documents, and tender submissions.
• Develop compelling bid strategies, methodologies, and proposal content tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate inputs from technical, finance, and management teams to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
• Research clients, projects, and market opportunities to strengthen the company\'s competitive position.
• Maintain an organised database of company credentials, project references, CVs, and other bid documentation.
• Track bid outcomes and identify opportunities to improve the company\'s tender win rate.
• Monitor and support relevant Oil & Gas tender, prequalification, and procurement opportunities as the company expands into the sector.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years\' experience in bid/tender management, proposal development, or a similar role.
• Proven experience preparing bids for engineering consulting, construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
• Strong proposal writing, research, coordination, and project management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Oil & Gas tendering/procurement experience is an advantage.
