Batching Plant Manager at Trucrete Solutions Limited

• The Batching Plant Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the batching plant, ensuring efficient production of high-quality concrete in line with project specifications. The role involves coordinating material supply, supervising plant personnel, maintaining equipment functionality, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
• Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff
• Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
• Address employees’ issues or grievances and escalate where necessary
• Appraise and submit monthly performance reports on Batching Plant Staff.
• Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts
• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Review Material, Labour and Equipment Schedules required for production batches.
• Raise invoices for concrete requests and follow up for payment.
• Review and approve production and supply for concrete requests.
• Monitor and Track supplies on invoices and sign off for account settlement.
• Collect and analyze data to identify and reduce waste or overtime
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Review and collate Periodic Production Reports for all plants and provide insights for management decisions.
• Maintain assets production capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (highly preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years experience in concrete production, batching plant operations, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mix design, batching procedures, and material properties.
• Proficiency in plant production tracking tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
