Job Description

• We are looking for a talented and passionate Baker to produce high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts for our restaurant, events, and room service. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in both classic and contemporary baking techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and specialty items
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentation
• Develop new recipes and contribute to menu improvements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station and equipment
• Monitor stock levels and request supplies as needed
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operation standards
• Work with the kitchen team to meet daily production needs
• Meet deadlines and maintain high standards during busy periods

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef (hotel or upscale bakery preferred)
• Strong knowledge of baking methods, dough preparation, pastry techniques, and oven operations
• Ability to follow recipes precisely while also creating new items
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and cleanliness
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Culinary training or certification is an added advantage
