Backend .Net Developer at Alfred & Victoria Associates

Job Purpose

• Backend .Net Developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. He/She will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
• In this role, He/She should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects.

Responsibilities

• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C# / VB.NET
• Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.
• Prepare test based applications for various .Net applications.
• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
• Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
• Create technical specifications and test plans
• Monitor everyday activities of system and provide require support.

Job Requirements

• Academic Qualification: Degree in Web Design, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Professional Qualification: MCSD or MCPD certification will be highly advantageous
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years working experience

• Prior experience as a .NET Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure.
• Capacity to use SQL or Oracle with ease.
• A flair for creating well-presented software that is technically sound.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-driven, flexible, and innovative.
• Familiarity with the Mono framework {{if needed}.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Skill for writing reusable libraries
