Job Background

• Techspecialist Consulting Limited is a Technology Service delivery company that offers managed IT services for Government, Private and Non-governmental organizations.
• We are looking for a Back-End Web Developer with basic graphics and UI/UX design skills who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

Job Description (Roles and Responsibilities)

• Responsibilities for this role will include Build reusable code and libraries for future use Design, implements, and maintain back-end application phases.
• Such candidate will work with Front-end engineers and bridge the gap between database design, code functionality and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how applications looks as well as how it works.

Below are the key responsibilities for this role:

• Gather and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with project managers
• Write clean code to develop functional web applications
• Illustrate application ideas using database modelling and process flow
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Develop application code for the back-end program.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Develop technical designs for application development
• Conduct software analysis,research, debugging and testing
• Collaborate with Designers and Developers to create intuitive, user-friendlyapplications
• Provide training and support to internal teams.

Qualifications

• B.Sc in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in web markup: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Adequate understanding of server-side scripting and JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as Node js, Adonis JS, etc.
• Adequate understanding of multi-paradigm programming language; C# and ASP.NET server-side framework.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming
• Experience with relational and Non-relational Databases with a good understanding of database schemas and security compliance.
• Basic understanding of Git code versioning tools.
