Audit Senior at Ibukun Olaniyi Ojo & Co (Chartered Accountants)

We are seeking to recruit an experienced male Audit Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years’ experience in a practising firm and demonstrate strong leadership, audit expertise, and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to finalisation.
• Review audit plans, risk assessments, and working papers for quality and compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables in line with engagement schedules.
• Supervise and mentor audit staff, ensuring proper task allocation and performance.
• Prepare and/or review audit reports, management letters, and audit findings.
• Liaise with clients and manage client relationships professionally.
• Ensure adherence to relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to business development activities (proposals, client engagements, and proposal support).

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a practising chartered accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams and deliver high-quality audit outcomes.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Must be an active member of ICAN.
• Proficiency in using accounting/audit tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
