    Audit Director

    Responsibilities:

    • Help lead the Audit service line alongside the Audit Partner, including developing and implementing audit strategies, overseeing the planning and execution of audits and ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulations.
    • Manage multiple engagements, oversee engagement status, and ensure maintenance of milestones of all projects
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing strong relationship and providing expert advice on all audit related matters.
    • Identify opportunities to expand the Firm’s audit services, developing proposals and marketing strategies to win new business and grow the firm’s client base
    • Ensure strict adherence to necessary professional and auditing standards
    • Manage profitability of projects, evaluate strategy for growth of the Firm
    • Keep up to date with the latest developments in audit regulations, standards, and industry trends, ensuring the firm’s audit services are of the highest quality and compliant with all relevant regulations.
    • Provides leadership, mentorship, and career guidance for the professional development and motivation of team members

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Fellow of a relevant professional body is a must (FCA/FCCA,).
    • A minimum of 8 to 12 years of current or recent audit experience in one of the largest professional services firms (preferably Big4)
    • A depth knowledge of controlling diverse portfolio of audit clients across sectors
    • Strong technical knowledge of audit regulations, standards, and methodologies, with ability to apply this knowledge to complex audit issues and provide innovative solutions
    • Excellent leadership and management skills with a successful track record of directing and deploying team members on multiple simultaneous engagements
    • Project management, including the ability to coordinate a number of projects simultaneously
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex audit issues clearly and concisely to clients and team members
    • Ability to travel based on client and business demands.
