The Audit & Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing audit engagements, managing tax compliance and advisory services, and leading a team to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience working with clients across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and supervise audit engagements from planning to final reporting
Review audit working papers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
Manage corporate tax filings, VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations
Provide tax planning, advisory, and risk management services to clients
Liaise with tax authorities and regulatory bodies during audits and assessments
Lead, mentor, and evaluate audit and tax team members
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Identify business development opportunities and support proposal preparation.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, with at least 1 year in an accounting or consulting firm
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
