Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented Assistant warehouse manager to join our Warehouse team.
• The successful candidate should be able to ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
• Assist in receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
• Assist in setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
• Assist in management of stock control and reconciliation.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly.
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Requirements and skills

• BSc Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
• Candidate must hold a 2:1 degree or higher.
• At least 4 years proven work experience as an Assistant warehouse manager
• Possess warehousing skills tailored to the Organization (Experiential Marketing or similar)
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills.
