Assistant Manager / Officer – Power Plant (Electrical) at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineer to manage the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power plant systems.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with substation operations, Bergen or Wartsila engines, and a strong background in electrical systems within an FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily substation operations and independently carry out overhaul, repair, and troubleshooting of Bergen or Wartsila engines.
• Operate and maintain transformers, VCBs, and ACBs.
• Provide technical support for generators, motors, relays, cables, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and operate DOL, star-delta starters, and VFD systems.
• Oversee PCC & MCC operations and ensure effective issue resolution.
• Develop and execute PM schedules in line with OEM standards while maintaining ISO documentation.
• Maintain and repair instruments, PLC systems, and LV/MV/HV switchgears.
• Ensure proper upkeep of all electrical equipment within the Wartsila power plant and associated facilities.
• Utilize computer tools for reporting, monitoring, and documentation.
• Uphold professionalism, responsibility, honesty, and clear communication at all times.

Salary
N450,000 - N500,000 Gross Monthly (+/-)
