Assistant Laboratory Technician at Trucrete Solutions Limited

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Laboratory Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction materials testing to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by ensuring accurate testing, quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests on various construction materials (soil, aggregates, concrete, etc.) to determine their properties and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the consistency and accuracy of test results.
• Assist the Laboratory Technician in resolving technical issues, particularly with unusual soil and aggregate samples and specialized concrete mix designs.
• Prepare samples for analysis in accordance with established laboratory procedures.
• Operate, maintain, and clean laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
• Ensure all laboratory activities comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and accurate records of all test results and laboratory activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a construction materials testing laboratory.
• Relevant technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of soil, aggregate, and concrete testing procedures.
• Familiarity with quality control standards in construction materials testing.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
