Art Teacher at Kids' Court Montessori School

Responsibilities

• Implement academic policies and the subject curriculum to ensure pupils receive the highest standards of education
• Ensure high knowledge of curriculum content
• Create weekly lesson plans in line with curriculum
• Prepare learning materials
• Teach pupils related subject using a variety of lesson delivery methods
• Give regular class work and homework to assess how learning objectives are being met
• Ensure pupils’ classwork and homework is marked
• Continuously track and record individual pupils’ performance and progress
• Ensure pupils receive regular feedback on improvement areas and progress
• Uphold Kids’ Court policies on pupils
• Promote personal and social development of class pupils and foster positive attitudes among them
• Be aware of and make provision for students who are AEN/SEN, very able, LAC or who have particular individual development needs
• Take responsibility for the effective, efficient and safe use of learning resources and equipment
• Take responsibility for own professional development.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and work experience.
