Architect at Sterling Asset Managements & Trustees Ltd

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and coordinate with other design consultants to ensure seamless integration. 
• Provide QA/QC oversight during the construction process, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications. 
• Ensure all designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and statutory requirements. 
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. 
• Identify and address design or construction challenges promptly and implement necessary adjustments as required. 

Experience

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 6-8 years post-graduation work experience with: 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in consulting 
• Hands - on design experience and coordination
• Minimum 2 years construction experience in mid/ high rise development 

Skills

• Have foundational knowledge of standards for design and construction  
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic project needs. 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills. 

Requirements 

• B.Sc. in Architecture or any other related fields from a reputable university 
• M.Sc. in Architecture or any other related fields is an added advantage 
• Membership of NIA/ARCON
