Architect – Internship (NYSC) at Black Pelican Group

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and creative NYSC Corper with an architectural background to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will support the development and execution of architectural and interior design concepts for residential and commercial lifestyle projects, working closely with senior designers and project leads.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in preparing architectural drawings, design presentations, and layout plans.
2. Support the design team in developing innovative and functional design solutions.
3. Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client presentations.
4. Conduct research on design trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
6. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.
2. Currently serving as an NYSC Corper (deployed to Lagos).
3. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
4. Strong creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
