Job Description

• The Architect will be responsible for the design and development of building projects from concept to construction. 
• This includes collaborating with clients, developing design concepts, preparing construction documents, and overseeing project execution. 
• The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their needs, develop project briefs, and present design proposals.
• Develop schematic designs, including site analysis, space planning, and building form development.
• Create detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction documents using relevant software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for bidding and construction.
• Ensure designs comply with all applicable building codes, regulations, and zoning ordinances.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design intent and contract documents.
• Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and address construction-related issues.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other consultants.
• Integrate sustainable design principles into projects.
• Stay up-to-date with current architectural trends, technologies, and materials.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural software,likeRevit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BIM.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent design sensibility and ability to develop creative and functional solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Architectural license is required.
