AR/VR Developer (Spark AR/VR Unity) at Tanta Innovative Limited

You will leverage your expertise in platforms like Spark AR and Unity to bring imaginative concepts to life and push the boundaries of immersive technology.

Role Overview:

• As an AR/VR Developer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of AR/VR development, from ideation and prototyping to implementation, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and project managers to create compelling and user-friendly immersive experiences across various platforms and devices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement interactive AR experiences using Spark AR Studio (for platforms like Instagram and Facebook).
• Design, develop, and implement immersive VR and AR applications using Unity Engine and related SDKs (e.g., Oculus SDK, ARCore, ARKit).
• Collaborate with creative teams (designers, artists, animators) to integrate 3D assets, animations, and interactive elements into AR/VR applications.
• Develop and implement user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) optimized for AR/VR environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of AR/VR applications to ensure optimal performance and stability across different devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AR/VR technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AR/VR development.
• Contribute to the development of project documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for AR/VR projects.
• Optimize applications for performance, ensuring smooth frame rates and efficient resource utilization.
• Potentially work with other relevant technologies and platforms as needed for project requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience 8 + years) in developing AR experiences using Spark AR Studio, including scripting with JavaScript (ECMAScript).
• Strong proficiency in Unity Engine and C# programming for VR and AR development.
• Experience with 3D content pipelines and asset integration within Unity and Spark AR.
• Familiarity with relevant SDKs and APIs (e.g., Oculus SDK, ARCore, ARKit).
• Understanding of UI/UX principles for immersive environments.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, including version control (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for AR/VR technologies and a drive to create innovative experiences.
