Application Security Tester at Uridium Technologies

Responsibilities

• Security Assessment: Perform comprehensive security assessments, including penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis.
• Vulnerability Identification: Identify, document, and prioritize vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and networks.
• Exploit Development: Develop and utilize custom scripts and tools to exploit vulnerabilities and demonstrate the potential impact of security weaknesses.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, potential risks, and recommendations for remediation. Communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Security Tools: Utilize and manage security tools and technologies.
• Security Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and best practices. Provide guidance and training to the development and IT teams on secure coding practices and security protocols.
• Incident Response: Assist in incident response activities by identifying and mitigating threats in real-time.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other security professionals, IT staff, and business units to integrate security into all aspects of the organization’s operations
