Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of applications, identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning to assess the security of web and mobile applications.
• Develop and execute security testing plans and procedures.
• Provide guidance and recommendations for remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Participate in the design and implementation of secure coding practices.
• Produce clear and concise security assessment reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Application Security Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of web application security principles.
• Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Experience with security testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, etc.
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), or similar are a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
