We seek an early-stage career individual interested in working at the intersection/nexus of consulting and impact.
The ideal candidate will work on projects that aim to solve development issues in Africa with a focus on health, agriculture, policy, gender and climate change.
They will collaborate with our expert teams to develop and implement evidence-based solutions and recommendations that address our clients’ needs and deliver impact at the last mile.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis on development issues that affect our clients in Nigeria and Africa.
Infer and present research findings in clear and concise reports, briefs, and other formats.
Work with our expert team to plan and implement projects in Nigeria and across Africa.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and maintain industry awareness
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Economics, Political Science, Sustainability or related field (master’s degree preferred)
Minimum two years cognate experience in research and analysis
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with research and analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or GIS (Geographic Information System) tools
Experience working with government agencies, NGOs (Non-governmental Organizations), or other development stakeholders in Africa
