    Ambulance Driver (EMR)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate an ambulance and transport patients to medical facilities.
    • Respond promptly to emergency calls and follow designated routes to reach the destination.
    • Ensure the ambulance is properly stocked and equipped with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
    • Assess patients' conditions during transportation and provide basic medical assistance when required.
    • Communicate effectively with emergency dispatchers, medical personnel, and other first responders.
    • Maintain accurate records, including patient information, treatments provided, and mileage logs.
    • Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of patients, crew members, and the public.
    • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the ambulance to ensure it is in good working condition.
    • Adhere to protocols and procedures established by the organization and regulatory bodies.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
    • Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
    • Prior experience as an ambulance driver or in a similar role is preferred.
    • Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR techniques.
    • Excellent driving skills with the ability to navigate through traffic safely and efficiently.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
    • Physical fitness to perform lifting and maneuvering tasks associated with patient transport.
    • Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Knowledge of local traffic laws and geography.
