Agricultural Technology Officer at eRecruiter Nigeria

Job Responsibilities:

• Research and stay updated on advancements in agricultural technology, including precision farming, drones, sensors, IoT devices, and other emerging technologies.
• Develop and implement innovative technological solutions to optimize farm operations, improve crop yields, and reduce environmental impact.
• Conduct field trials and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of new technologies in real-world agricultural settings.
• Provide technical support and training to farmers and agricultural professionals on the use of new technologies.
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and researchers, to develop integrated agricultural solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field. 
• Minimum of 2 years experience in agricultural technology development, implementation, or research.
• Strong understanding of agronomy principles and agricultural practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture and commitment to environmental stewardship.
