Job Description

• The Agency Officer coordinates vessel port calls, ensuring smooth operations from arrival to departure. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulations while supporting efficient vessel turnaround in a fast-paced port environment

Job Responsibilities

• Clear and profession communication with ship captain, port officer and client
• Good written, communication for reports and documentation
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Knowledge of shipping and port operations
• Familiarity with regulations and documentations requirements
• Proficiency in email, spreadsheet and shipping/logistics software

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• First degree in BSC / HND in Nautical Science, Logistics & Transport or Maritime Sciences
• A Master’s Degree and a professional qualification would be an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience
