Administrative Assistant at IITA - International Institute of Tropical Agriculture

DUTIES: 

• Carry out data collation and entry.
• Perform data collation and pictorial presentation.
• Carry out post-service follow-up of every service and/or maintenance.
• Conduct customer prospecting, acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
• Carry out material/parts requisition and appointment scheduling.
• Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

• National Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration Mass Communication and any other social science course with a minimum of six (6) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Have working knowledge of Oracle material requisition systems.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and reading comprehension.
• Be experienced in conducting CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) surveys and resolving customer complaints effectively.
• Exhibit strong time management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
