    Admin and Facility Manager

    Our client is an affiliate of a leading multinational corporation in the Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances industry with an outstanding line of cutting-edge products and premium services enjoyed around the world.     Location:      Lagos, Nigeria

    Job Objectives and Primary Responsibilities

    To achieve set operational efficiency goals and the provision of uninterrupted service delivery to all internal and external customers, the Admin and Facility manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of all company facilities, including the maintenance of all office infrastructure and access control. Other key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Contracting/arranging maintenance and repair services as well as facilitating/coordinating supplies, and processing of invoices for payments to service providers.
    • Arrange for purchase, general maintenance and registration (including statutory requirements) of motor vehicles, premises, office equipment, fixtures and fittings as necessary.
    • Investigate and respond promptly to any reports of faults or breakdowns to office equipment and oversee timely repairs and maintenance.
    • Engage and manage relationship with vendors/suppliers (including adherence to Service Level Agreements-SLAs), public utility providers/regulators and other key stakeholders.
    • Ensure proper documentation, listing and update of the organization’s assets and inventory.
    • Perform any other duties as may be required or assigned by management.

    Education/ Professional Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree (second class lower) or its equivalent in a science or social science discipline.
    • An MBA or a higher degree will be an added advantage
    • Member of a professional body such as Facilities Management Institute (FMI), Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM), IFMA, etc.

    Work Experience, Skills and Competencies:

    • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years post-graduation work experience in a similar role
    • Good knowledge of the role of Facility management in organizational performance.
    • Good knowledge of administrative and facility management methodology.
    • Understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities and regulations in the consumer electronics industry
    • Competence in computing, numeracy and statistical analysis
    • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
    • Ability to seek out opportunities for continuous improvement and change.
    • Ability to ensure high quality standards and customer care are achieved
