Job Description

The role will be providing support to the Junior Actuarial Specialist and others on the team.

The position will report to the Senior Actuarial Supervisor and will be supervised by the Junior Actuarial Specialist who will be reviewing the work done by the officer in this role.

• Prepare and validate data for most actuarial tasks
• Carry out Actuarial Valuation
• Carry out Embedded Value (including Value of New Business) calculations
• Carry out basic experience monitoring
• Provide quotes to sales team
• Provide inputs to regular monthly reports
• Participate in product development (User Acceptance Testing)
• Team Effectiveness
• Actuarial Service Delivery Support
• Reporting Assistance

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• BSc in Actuarial Science or related field
• Minimum of one year actuarial/technical insurance experience
• Enrolment in a recognised professional actuarial exams body, e.g., Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (is preferred).
