Accounts Officer at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Responsibilities

• Process daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, payment schedules, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and production costing.
• Support VAT, PAYE, WHT, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Assist with month-end reporting and external audits.
• Support the Senior Accountant with other finance-related duties.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2 – 5 years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and Nigerian tax regulations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and accounting software skills.
• ICAN ATS or relevant professional qualification in progress is an advantage.
