Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Officer to manage our financial transactions, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, sales, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is an added advantage.
• 1 -3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a media or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Candidate should reside around the Garki axis of Abuja.
