Accountant at Picadailys

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy accountant to manage and oversee all financial operations of Picadailys. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain proper records, and support the company’s financial planning and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense tracking.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditures.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure timely postings.
• Support financial audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business decisions.
• Collaborate with management to improve internal controls and financial efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably in fintech, tech, or startup environments).
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards in Nigeria.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• ICAN or relevant professional certification (completed or in progress) is an advantage.
