Job Description

• The accountant will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information that supports decision-making processes and helps maintain the financial health of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain financial records by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
• Provide financial status information by completing database backup, keeping information confidential
• Complete other accounting tasks as needed
• Liaising with tax authorities and auditors on the frequency as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting role and proven work experience as an Accountant.
• Good understanding of financial reporting, financial statements, taxation, cash flow management/treasury, account reconciliation, budgeting, financial analysis, etc.
