We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
The Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
